The easiest way is to do this online, use the following link: https://www.gov.uk/register-employer
If you are working for an employer come the end of the tax year (5 April), your employer is required to send you a P60 by 31 May of the same year. The P60 will summarise how much you have been paid, and the tax and NI that has been deducted from your payslips. Keep a hold of your P60, particularly if you are completing a self assessment.
